Preparation
- 
Center the Pipe: - Ensure the pipe, cable, or conduit is centered in the wall opening or casing.
- The pipe should be adequately supported on both ends—Link-Seal® modular seals are
 
- 
Loosen Rear Pressure Plate: - Loosen the rear pressure plate nut just enough so that the links move freely.
- Connect both ends of the belt around the pipe.
 
- 
Check Bolt Heads: - Ensure all bolt heads are facing the installer.
- Extra slack or sag in the belt is normal. Do
- On smaller-diameter pipes, links may need to be stretched.
 
- 
Insert Belt Assembly: - Slide the belt assembly into the annular space.
- For larger-size belts, start inserting the Link-Seal® modular seal assembly at the
 
Tightening the Link-Seal®

Begin Tightening: - Use a

Final Tightening: - Make
- Tighten until all sealing elements
